Acadia National Park

Acadia National Park is located on Mount Desert Island off the SE coast of Maine, in the Atlantic Ocean. Acadia is the oldest National Park East of the Mississippi River and is home to a diverse array of plant and animal species, as well as beaches, rocky shorelines, boreal and eastern deciduous forests, mountains, and marshes.
